Aspire for Higher is a not for profit grassroots organization that uses sports as a vehicle to engage, empower and educate youth and young people from all communities and backgrounds.

We are seeking a content creator to help build our brand on TikTok and Instagram. This individual will be in charge of creating best-in-class and unique content for the @a4hsports TikTok and Instagram accounts.

Candidates should have strong creative and video skills, as well as a knowledge of the social media and influencer space and a clear passion for youth sports. Candidates should be on the pulse of what’s next and trends within social and digital, and have a genuine passion for TikTok. This individual will support the Marketing and Social Media team.

Hourly rate: Hourly Rate: $15.00 for 8 hours per week (Saturdays)

Job Requirements:

Support the social media team in developing a TikTok and Instagram social strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy.
Create daily content for the newly launched @a4hsports TikTok account and Instagram account
Engage with TikTok and Instagram followers and monitor conversations from the brand’s voice.
Identify and communicate with up-and-coming TikTok influencers and creators/ Instagram influencers or creators
Keep your pulse on the latest TikTok, Instagram and emerging platform trends, and propose ideas on how we can show up on these platforms.
Work together with the social team to understand performance and growth metrics in order to adjust creative for optimizing posts.
Participate in brainstorms and content ideation
Be self-sufficient with producing your own content
Visit camp sites daily to capture engaging content for our social media platforms
Attend meetings with Social Media team and other individuals of the organization

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a content creator and/or social media manager
In-depth knowledge of TikTok and Instagram, including analytics and best practices
Highly organized and able to work in an independent environment while meeting deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong work ethic with attention to detail, responsible and reliable
Your own phone or camera to shoot and edit videos
Ability to travel to different locations in Brampton and Mississauga
