We are seeking a skilled Copywriter & LinkedIn Growth Strategist who can craft powerful, SEO-optimized blog content and convert our social impact into compelling narratives that drive visibility and engagement on LinkedIn and other professional platforms. This individual will play a pivotal role in elevating our voice across all Aspire for Higher initiatives by transforming milestones, programs, and community wins into shareable, high-impact content.

Hourly rate: $18 per hour, 35 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

Write and publish SEO-optimized blog content across Aspire for Higher's three pillars: A4H Sports, A4H Skills Lab, and BHPN
Develop and execute a LinkedIn content strategy to drive follower growth, engagement, and visibility for each initiative
Translate project milestones, events, and success stories into thought leadership posts, viral LinkedIn content, and professional storytelling
Collaborate with internal teams to identify blog topics and social wins worth amplifying
Conduct interviews with staff, program participants, or partners to generate authentic narratives
Optimize all content for readability, SEO, and platform-specific engagement
Monitor performance of LinkedIn posts and blogs and adapt strategy based on analytics
Stay informed on trends in social impact storytelling and content performance in the nonprofit, sports, workforce, and healthcare sectors

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital storytelling
Bachelor's Degree or pursuing studies in Journalism, Communications or English
Proven track record of growing professional presence or brand on LinkedIn or similar platforms
Strong understanding of SEO and keyword research for blog optimization
Demonstrated ability to translate real-world programs into compelling stories
Passion for social impact, equity, and community empowerment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple content deadlines across different program areas
Experience using tools like Hootsuite, SEMrush, or LinkedIn analytics is an asset
