Aspire for Higher (A4H Sports) is a grassroots not-for-profit organization that uses sport to inspire, educate, and empower youth across diverse communities. Our Summer Camps provide a fun, structured environment for kids aged 4–14 to build physical literacy, confidence, and teamwork through dynamic sports and recreation programming.

We are looking for a highly organized and creative Camp Media Manager to lead our Summer Camp content operations. This role is ideal for someone who can manage a team of content creators, ensure timely delivery of high-quality media assets, and support marketing initiatives that engage parents and promote camp visibility. The Camp Media Manager will oversee daily staff execution at multiple campsites, support the growth of our social media presence, and ensure a seamless delivery of newsletters, photo/video content, and review campaigns.

Hourly rate: $20 per hour, 35 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

Team Management & Content Oversight

  • Lead and manage a team of videographers/photographers to ensure on-site staff arrive on time, follow shot lists, and deliver quality media

     

  • Conduct regular check-ins with media staff and provide creative direction and feedback

     

  • Review and approve final content (photos, videos, reels) before distribution or posting

     

Marketing & Communications

  • Support the A4H Sports marketing campaign by coordinating and encouraging parent Google reviews and user-generated content

     

  • Oversee the growth of A4H’s social media platforms through strategic content planning and scheduling

     

  • Create and distribute weekly parent newsletters with camp highlights and media galleries

     

Site Management & Travel

  • Travel to camp sites across Brampton and Caledon to support on-site media team, ensure presence, timeliness, and professionalism

     

  • Monitor daily media team performance and ensure all content is aligned with A4H branding, messaging, and weekly campaign goals

     

Content Delivery

  • Ensure timely editing and delivery of weekly camp media packages to parents (via email or shared folders)

     

  • Maintain a content calendar and workflow to ensure all assets are shared on schedule

     

  • Organize all media assets in an accessible, well-maintained digital archive

     

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in media production, marketing, or team/project management

     

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage creatives and meet deadlines

     

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)

     

  • Experience in photography/videography and content editing tools is an asset

     

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts

     

  • Must have access to reliable transportation and be available to travel to multiple camp sites weekly
